The Moving Body Map is a 6-week 5Rhythms® workshop offered as a weekly class series for dancers and conscious movers who want to dance with more freedom while caring for their bodies.
Each week includes a full 5Rhythms® wave (Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, Stillness) and practical, somatic body-care guidance you can feel immediately and use beyond the dance floor. This work supports sustainable movement—grounding, breath, balance, and recovery—so you can dance fully and feel supported afterward.
If you’ve ever left a dance with sore knees, tight hips, a cranky neck, tense shoulders, or feet that complain later, this series offers real tools to move differently. Not medical. Not theoretical. Just movement, awareness, and anatomy-in-motion inside a lived 5Rhythms® practice.
This workshop is open to dancers and movers of all levels. You move at your own pace, within your edge, in a welcoming and inclusive space.
This is a weekly class in a series (Jan 8–Feb 12). Consistency supports deeper benefits.
Come as you are. Your body already knows the way.

5Rhythms-Inspired Embodied Installation Walk
Mount Davidson · San Francisco
This workshop is a 5Rhythms-inspired embodied installation practice—an extension of moving inquiry into the natural world.
We’ll gather in nature and begin with a somatic check-in, then walk in quiet, tracking sensation, breath, sound, and contact with the land. Drawing from 5Rhythms principles of presence, listening, and embodiment, we’ll allow what’s alive in the body to guide us.
Together, we’ll create a simple shared visual arrangement (installation/altar) from found natural objects—a way to let the body speak visually. The installation becomes a reflection of our physical and emotional presence in this moment, and an offering from our bodies back to the body of the earth.
This practice supports:
returning to the body
nervous system regulation through sensory contact
marking seasonal thresholds and turning points
expressing what’s present without words
No art experience is needed. This is not about performance or aesthetics, but about listening, relationship, and return.
